Protoni's work diary - Project villa Ainola

Well hello again!

This time I thought that I could tell a bit about my friend's project villa Ainola. Villa Ainola did locate in Oulu the place that is called today Ainola park. Villa was build in 1888 and it burnt in 1929.

Firs part from these project has been published in finnish and english. The first part tells about Hemming Åström, the owner of villa Ainola and second director of leather fabric Bröder Åström. Oh boy, he and his brother Karl Robert were quite a  productive men. Next part is about Johan Erik Stenberg, architect that designed the villa Ainola. After that it would be time to tell about villa itself.
Even though she does publish those writings about villa in atricles form she has plans to eventually publis all in a book form.

It sure is slow work but persistently she keeps working with it. Later I will tell more about those villa drafts. Those drafts are one kind of an art work. Just look that hand drew draft from villa Ainola made by Stenberg, WAU!!!

Like in many work this project does include many things.
There is 3D-modeling, visiting archieves plus other research work, translation, image processing and using skribuss.

She has visited in the archive and has documented many historical documents. Oh boy those old time hand writing styles. She sure has got some grey hairs from them.  While looking 19th century letters she sure has noticed how useful it is to know swedish language.

Previous summer I got really enthusiastic by our walkings together and we did many walks in Oulu's Ainola park and explore it while we live nearby. There sure is interesting to watch ducks, explore rocky ground, get zooms and wallow in flowerbed fertilizer, especially after bath. For some reason my friend isn't so happy about that walloing in flowerbed fertilizer.... what a weird dude she is.
